Programming
I don't even do this kind of job any more, but this, from The Daily WTF, made me bristle. I think because it highlights what happens when managers have no freaking clue what programmers do.

Sounds like a day in the life of my old work place.
The guy had nobody to blame but himself.
I wouldn't agree in the beginning, but after it was obvious -- though its always more obvious from the outside -- yes, I do.
