What's the chance that this Cheney thing will suggest to certain Republican loyalists that the true mark of insiderdom with the Bush cabal will now be shotgun pellet scars? I can see a cottage industry of 'fake pellet tattoos' springing up in DC. "Oh, this, thats nothing, just Dick."

This is the oddest news item. There is now a story over at msnbc.com about the "Fallout over the Cheney shooting". Evidentally the press is angry over the slow response by authorities to let the media know about the shooting. Like a press conference should've been held on the double to announce this "breaking news"? All of the things the mainstream media has let Bush get away with all this time and this is what they are up in arms about? Sheesh.
But **this**, they can understand! Its bite sized easily digestible news! Plus, it stars our favorite foul mouth politician!!!!
And have you noticed that none of the articles about it have said he's sorry?
Hee, not only that. The article I read had Cheney's people blaming it on the poor sap who got shot!
