Oh, and on a completely non related note... I know that you are not a pro-firearms guy, and I respect that. So am I, to an extent. However, you cannot "ban" a firearm without passing laws, and enforcing them, and the process of enforcement looks suspiciously like fascism to a lot of people. So it is a fine line, an easy line to cross. England has banned most firearms, and this is the sort of thing which is happening.
I've seen that kind of institutional stupidity here when it comes to zero tolerance policies. Kid takes a weapon away from someone else, turns it in, gets in trouble - that sort of thing. If thats how conservatives view people like me, as thinking that its okay to be that way, then I understand why they think we're nuts.
