I understand that there are some pharmacists who object to handing over drugs of whose function they disapprove -- for example, birth control pills. Further, they object to allowing anyone else to hand them over, either -- calling over another pharmacist, or sending the prescription to another pharmacy. They say that doing so is a contravention of their rights.
What a novel concept.
Next, I assume, we can expect to see policemen choosing which laws to enforce... meter readers choosing which meters they wish to read.... librarians choosing which books are overdue, and which are not.
Idiotic.
