The next best thing to a Transient Ischemic Attack is when your daughter says, with a panicky sound, can someone come look at my laptop? I'm afraid to move it.
Turns out closing the lid with papers on the keyboard isn't that good an idea. The hinge takes it personally.
It's fixed. Kinda. I think the duct tape adds something.

that's almost as bad as hearing "NOOOO" from the livingroom when I was in the kitchen doing dishes..
Daughter spilled juice on my laptop.. I grabbed it immediately, turning it on it's side, yelled for her to get a towel, and began praying that it would survive. It did, but the arrow keys were never the same :(
You do what makes sense, and hope you don't make the situation worse. I've heard of people who dripped juice on their laptop and immediately immersed it in water. Um...
But at the time, it made sense!
