Shopping

I normally don't have problems when doing our grocery shopping. But when my daughter asks me to pick up "some detangling shampoo..."

That doesn't appear to be a word that they like to put on the ten thousand bottles in the women's hair care area.

That's why stores have clerks. Ask one. Preferably a female, though. Words such as smoothing or defrizz might also work.

This was in a supermarket, and though there is frequently one in that area, not this time. I just this moment learned (said to me with just the slightest touch of scorn at my ignorance) that it's not a shampoo, it's a spray. Well, of course!
