Google Gulp
I just found out that if you do a Gsearch like 'Recipe macaroni', it will return a search page where you tell it what you want to cook - cuisine, servings, etc - and then get you web recipes that match those characteristics.
That is a super cool feature! Thanks for letting us know about it .. I most definately will use it!
I've gone to allrecipes.com and used their feature that lets you list what ingredients you want to use and it supplies a list of recipes using those items. Similar? I guess I'll have to check google's out, hey?
I think I typoed the command -- it's "recipe: macaroni", not "recipe macaroni".
I'm not sure whether I've just 'drunk the Google Kool-aid', but I just assumed that they'd be able to do it. Even so, I was a bit surprised when it popped up. I showed it to my wife this morning, and she was kind of tickled, too. Wonder if the sites from which it draws pay for the privilege?
