Cautery

I came across this short story through the StumbleUpon tool. I thought it was well written. The author asks for payment, if you like it, via PayPal. I think it's worth it, but I don't believe in PayPay any more (since they got a whole fleet of lawyers to write their user agreement, they look less friendly than, say, Microsoft), though I might use my credit card, which he also accepts. But in any event, I wanted to point out the story, and its talented author.
