Yesterday, I received a request from a person on the Conversation Exchange site who is going for a masters degree in Economics. She wants to improve her English. Great, I thought. I like economics, perhaps we can talk about that. Most of the conversations will be in English, of course, but some will be in French. Good for both of us. So I replied yes, I'd love to talk to you, here's my Skype contact information.
It's 36 hours later, and nothing. I know, I have buckets of free time, most people don't, chill.
Meanwhile, I just signed up for an ID on a site so that I could comment on it. They sent me a confirmation email. While I'm watching the 'downloading now', I find myself thinking hey, this could be that person.
Yeah, right.
