Last night, driving with my daughter, I wasn't totally sure how to get out of the back roads we were on. It would have been nice to have... even though I'm sure she'd have given me grief for needing it! What's the matter, Dad, Alzheimers kicking in?
I got a GPS thingie on my phone. Prior to that, it was all maps and "doing the Crocodile Dundee thing".
I've been to too many places where a call to the Mrs "Can you look up where I am on Google Maps/Mapquest/whatever?" yields "I don't see anywhere with that street name/road designation/cornfield..."
Of course, I've also found that when I *need* the help of the GPS thingie on my phone, there's no signal...

We got one as a Christmas gift from daughter. Had our first big fight in a long time while using it. Watch her, she can break up marriages.
I had heard that. We got one equipped with a self destruct.
I love our gps.. got it second hand but it gives great directions. I love it when I'm out driving somewhere and I need directions to get home.
