Reactions

I wonder if older people tend to be negative about change because they've seen so many potential good things perverted?  Whereas younger people don't have that experience, so their initial optimism doesn't get diffused?

I think being negative about change is because we like the familiar and we are not crazy about learning something new or trying something different when what we now do or use works so well.

who says that old people are negative about change?? I'm not negative about all change. I think that the enormous progress that has been made with respect to GLBT rights, for instance is terrific. And Obamacare? I think that's a terrific change. On the other hand, I hate cell phones and wish they'd never been invented.
