Rollins
You wouldn't think that someone who looks like this would be both funny and terrifically insightful.
He is, in fact, both. And well worth an evening of your time. If you have the chance to listen to the thoughts of a nationally known politician, or listen to the ramblings of Henry Rollins.... choose Henry. No kidding. His Capitalism tour is amazing.

You should never judge a book by its cover.
I already knew he was pretty cool, from something else he'd done/ First time I saw him in person, though. He talked for 2 1/2 hours straight, no breaks, and about 98% of it was worthwhile and made tons of sense.
Thinks for the heads up. I never heard of the guy but that just means I'm from way back in the sticks and don't get around much.
Not to worry. He gets around. Boy, does he get around.
My 21 year old and I saw him a couple of weeks ago in CBus - my son has been a fan since he was a kid. On family road trips we listened to Henry.
So I knew he would be awesome but I did not know he could speak 2 1/2 hours without stopping.
Which he did.
I was awed. His combination of life guidance sources -- as he put it repeatedly, he is 'instructed' by punk rock and by Jefferson -- is unparalleled.
Doesn't hurt that I had a sneaking suspicion we agreed on Presidential candidates, either.
