I have to admit that I didn't read the whole thing, but
What's So Bad About A Boy Who Wants to Wear A Dress is intriguing. I liked their observation that no one thinks it odd for a girl to wear jeans and toss a football, but the reverse - well, that's something else again.

They (whoever "they" are) did not always think it was good for girls to wear jeans and throw a football. For instance, on the Titanic, there was a exercise room which had hours when it was reserved for ladies...and ladies wore a cockamamie multi layer outfit dress-bloomers set.
It took two world wars for women to get used to coveralls, jeans and legged casual wear. Even now though truly powerful women don't wear jeans. Can you imagine Jacki O, Margaret Thatcher, Benazir Bhutto, or Ivanka Trump wearing anything but well tailored skirts and dresses? And have you seen a bride get married lately in a pant suit? Yup..scandalous.
When I was growing up, it was VERY ususual for my friends moms to be wearing jeans. Now, not so unusual.
I know it has to start somewhere. I suspect it already has.
