Actually, I totally agree with that. Its like political parties -- though the left wing/right wing freaks scare us, they provide a sense of focus, a steering of the whole mass. The problem most managers (those who scream a lot) have is that this tends to be ALL they do. They never reinforce, never praise, never guide. They just go ballistic. Doesn't take much for people to just stop listening, head down.

I did finally see an article that mentioned what a tyrant he could be, too.
I had no idea he was a tyrant. Good for him. Sometimes you need a liiiiittle tyrant in you to get things done.
