then we would have alot more homeless people stalking and changing trains all the time for somewhere to sleep peacefully,. I would do it too lol cuz this is way more nicer than my home. But then maybe I wouldn't afford the price for tickets for this train.
There is no good reason why this could not be done here in North America. The cost of rolling stock is a tiny fraction of the cost of fuel, labour, track maintenance and right of way taxes.
I am trying to get the Wakefield steam (excursion) train running again....but floods have washed out the beds yet again, and we don't think we can get 'er done. Ever. http://outaouais.quebecheritageweb.com/attraction/steaming-gatineau-hull-chelsea-wakefield-steam-train

The tourist train there in India is a bit of a famous item. The Rocky Mountaineer here in Canada is numbered among such items. I found it a little depressing to see the excruciating luxury of the Indian trains, and compare it to the rather mundane meal and lack of service offered up by the Canadians. This link shows it really well...grin! http://www.theluxurytrains.com/

Oh, I'm sure that I couldn't afford it. I just really like the idea.
