Traveling

This month, I'm going to Canada, finally.  Well, Ottawa, definitely - there might be something dodgy about the reservation in Montreal.

Next month, my daughter is going to France for a study abroad.

At the end of June, my wife and I are going to Chicago to visit relatives, and to check out rumours that Chicago actually has a warm season.

In July, we're going somewhere.  I know this, because we're boarding the cat.  I just don't remember where.

And in October, I'm going to France for two weeks - the first is a total immersion class, where I will live and study with a small group and teacher, speaking only French. Paranoid?  Oh, you betcha.  And then the next week, I'm visiting with a couple of friends who live there, including one that I've met just once, for about three minutes, and one I've never met at all.

I wonder if we need new luggage?

During your immersion I hope you can get a few hours of English TV or English conversation at the end of the day. If not, you will find it very exhausting...I remember that from my all day Indonesian classes.

They said if we speak english, we're out of the class. I'm conversationally fluent, so it should be okay, but I'm certainly a little nervous. There will be a lot of You can me give that thing?
