I'm willing to believe that, but it doesn't excuse the attitude of people who say -- as a friend of mine just did -- that people should be able to buy any weapon they can afford, and that 'an armed society is a polite society'. I am tired of being reasonable. I want the government to go out and grab these peoples guns now, I want the gun dealers to be licensed within an inch of their lives, and I want mandatory death sentences for any crime committed with a gun.
