Nervous Much?
For the first time, my daughter is driving alone from our home down to DC and into the city. Where will you park? I figure I'll just find a place. Do you have cash? I figured I would just use credit cards.
There are a number of public parking garages that charge a small arm and leg to park. They are pretty safe and convenient. BUT having said that, if she is there during a holiday or weekend or busy summer celebration she could have a bit of a problem. The trouble with parking at metro garages is that you have to have a metro card to park there or go into town to get one!!

She wants to be near the mall, and figures she will find parking there. I decided to let her find out how unlikely that will be,
By metro card do you mean the card used for the Metro?
She'll be fine.
After all, the Titanic (pats hull) is a brand new ship!
