...as I said to Michaelangelo when he showed me the preliminary sketches for the Sistine Chapel. Prior to that it was bland and dull -- the Pristine Sistine, he joked -- but afterwards, it was going to be the Pope's Rumpus Room. At least, I think that's what he said. He was drinking at the time.
