Puhleeze! Demanding something does not make you a Republican, but Democrats are usually more manipulative.
Perhaps demanding doesn't make one a Republican, but being unwilling to speak forcefully for what you want certainly makes one a Democrat. D's are just too concensus-seeking, sometimes.
