I've mentioned on a couple of occasions that over the last two months I've lost a fair amount of weight, and in response a couple of people said that this was something that guys could just
do - lose weight without any effort. I would therefore like to point out that it goes both ways -- in the last week, during which I've been walking and using the exercise bike, and eating as I normally do, I've gained four pounds.
Awwww...I bet it's all lean muscle.
ReplyDeleteUm...yeah, thats it, lean muscle. To go with the chiseled features and full head of wavy hair. Yup.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I don't know whats up, but what I think it is, is, I was going to physical therapy, and though it wasn't a 'workout', it was a little strenuous. So, walking -- I'm up to about 1.5 or 2 miles -- and doing the bike are my attempt to replicate that. Because I seriously did like being at the lower weight!
There is always tango lessons ; P
ReplyDeleteTrue enough, but where would I get the leotard and gold lame' serape?
ReplyDeleteHmm I'll do a search on the internet to see what I come up with ; )
ReplyDeleteActually, I'll settle for being able to pull off a couple of the moves that Pacino did...
ReplyDeleteOkay, I take my previous comment back. :P
ReplyDeletePerhaps eating the way you did, is what's making you gain it back? Unless of course you're eating all protein and little carbs and still gaining .. then I'm clueless. ;)
Not sure. I've been tracking what I eat, last three days, and of course am having the standard reaction (I eat all that???). I'd bet that it is substantially carbs, though.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if chocolate ice cream for breakfast isn't such a good idea?
