  3. The picture is from a Washington Post article about votes in, I believe, Michigan, where due to Democratic party rules, the votes to select a nominee weren't included. There's a Hillary Clinton speech that refers to that event, here. http://tinyurl.com/48vsyt

  4. Oh yeah, I remember now. I'd never seen the picture before, but I do remember that Florida and Michigan having a crisis about whether their primaries would count or not. The did break primary rules, but I felt their votes should count.

    Gosh, that seems so long ago now.

  5. It was a simpler time... I thought (still do, though I suppose 'hoped' would be better) that the sign was hand-made by her, not mass-produced and fake, like at the conventions.

    I was just taken by the combination of determination and resignation in the woman's face.
