  1. Years and years ago, when I installed telephones for a living (for the phone company), I went to a simple row house; I think it was in the Crookes section of Sheffield. The lass who owned the house was, apparently, a professor of philosophy. Her house looked a bit like that. Not quite as neat, though.

    And, to be honest, my Mom has a tendency toward that sort of "decor"...

  2. Looking at that picture, I could swear I know the store. If I had to guess, I'd say it was Steep Hill in Lincoln. Except I don't remember any nice chairs, there. :-)

  3. I'm not fond of clutter. Not manic about cleaning it, but I like to be able to find stuff. Though this house --it would encourage me to live in serendip.
