I find Second Life comforting when I am feeling sick in my first life, luckily avatars don't catch colds. My campus internet can be pretty slow so sometimes SL will crash my computer, I don't appreciate that so much. Have fun flying!
I don't really get the point of 2L, but I thought I would give it a try. Not paying for anything. As for flying, my daughter saw someone bumping me with a car -- and I flew away. She thought that was pretty cool.
